A classic style mesa cloth woven with distinctive Inti symbols of sacred light and sun. The woven patterns show the sun at various times of sunrise, sunset, midday, and midnight. All aspects of every weaving express Q’ero life as strongly connected to the agricultural fields of Pachamama, the Apus, and all beings. Weaver Cristina Succle Apasa of Kiku knelt on the ground, leaning over her loom, for many days to produce this classic textile outside her stone one-room home in Q’eros.
