Description

Brightly woven symbols of sacred Inkarri (chunchu) lend strength and clarity to this wonderful mesa. Isabel Apaza Machacca created this warm-hearted mesa in her home village of Hapu in the Q’eros region of the Andes.  The outer bands and narrow middle bands are a rich red hue that frames the 4 bands of symbols of sacred Inkarri.  28 x 22.5 inches.  71 x 57 cm.   Your purchase helps Isabel, her family, and her village build food security and schools and helps preserve the beautiful Q’ero culture.
